Welcome to The Black Hare. Behind the shop is one person: me. This is my little corner of the world for people drawn to the unusual, the meaningful and the beautifully dark.

The Black Hare brings together gothic clothing, striking ornaments, Pagan-inspired pieces and curiosities, alongside thoughtful gifts and everyday finds with a little more character. I don't think everything we own needs to blend in. Sometimes the piece that feels most like you is the one that stands out.

More Than Just a Shop

As a practising Pagan, my connection to this world is personal. I'm drawn to symbolism, folklore and objects that hold meaning, whether that's something for your own space, something you wear or a gift that makes you think, “That's so them.”

You'll find names such as Nemesis Now alongside brands including Ancient Witch, Hop Hare, Agnes + Cat and Nomad Sari. What brings the range together isn't one particular look. It's a love of things with personality, from the quietly comforting to the wonderfully unusual.

This is a small, independently run business, not a faceless operation. I'm the person shaping the shop, choosing its direction and caring about the experience you have here.

I want you to feel comfortable asking questions before you buy. If you're unsure about an item, need a little more information or have a concern about your order, please get in touch. I'd rather help you find something right for you than have you buy something that isn't.
